INSIDE REST

Clinically studied ingredients.
Meet your nighttime formula.

Four ingredients. A clear purpose for each. Get to know the science behind magnesium glycinate, L-theanine, KSM-66 ashwagandha, and melatonin.

The research below studies individual ingredients, not the finished REST formula. Study forms and amounts may differ from REST.

Nervous system support*

Magnesium glycinate

An essential mineral paired with the amino acid glycine. Magnesium supports normal nerve and muscle function, making it the mineral foundation of REST’s nighttime formula.*

Explore the research

Magnesium bisglycinate has been evaluated in a randomized human sleep trial. A 2025 study in adults reporting poor sleep found a modest improvement in insomnia severity compared with placebo. The study’s formulation and amount should not be assumed to match REST.

Support for winding down*

L-theanine

An amino acid naturally found in tea, studied for relaxation and sleep quality. Included in REST to support the transition from a busy day to your nighttime routine.*

Explore the research

A small randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial in adults studied L-theanine’s effects on stress-related symptoms and sleep measures. Findings support further research; the trial did not test REST.

Stress & sleep support*

KSM-66 ashwagandha

A branded ashwagandha root extract studied in people for stress and sleep. Included in REST as the botanical component of your wind-down routine.*

Explore the research

KSM-66 root extract has been evaluated in randomized human trials. A 2019 study reported improvements in sleep quality and time to fall asleep among adults with insomnia. Its study amount differs from REST, and findings do not establish REST as an insomnia treatment.

Sleep–wake rhythm support*

Melatonin

Melatonin helps signal nighttime to your body and regulate your internal clock. In REST, it supports the timing of your sleep–wake routine.*

Explore the research

Melatonin has been studied in human sleep trials. A randomized 2018 study found benefits when combined with a consistent sleep schedule in people with delayed sleep timing. Results in this specific population do not mean it works the same way for everyone.

The rest of the label.

REST uses an HPMC capsule shell, made from cellulose, and magnesium stearate to help ingredients flow during manufacturing. Magnesium stearate is separate from the magnesium glycinate in the formula.
